Where golden meadows meet the sky,
a regal spirit runs once more—
beyond the veil of earthly light,
your Bear has found the farther shore.

That playful heart, both wild and bright,
that loved to tease with gentle ways,
now races through celestial fields
where Princess waits in amber haze.

The babyish song you howled in joy
when your beloved boy came near—
that sweetest sound still echoes soft
through stardust realms, forever clear.

Two souls who could not bear to part
found moonlit paths that intertwine,
and there beneath the rainbow's arc,
inseparable, again they shine.

September took you to the clouds
just one moon after she had flown—
but love this deep cannot be lost;
it lives in light we've always known.

Beautiful and grand you were,

watching from those peaceful heights
